Living a healthier lifestyle is about so much more than exercise – it’s about fueling your body. This is where I’ve struggled the most. Sure, I can go to SoulCycle four times a week, but that means nothing if I’m stuffing my face with pizza, soda, and other unhealthy foods.  It’s not just about what you’re doing with your body, it’s about what you put into it that matters most.

Last summer I got into meal planning.  It worked for a while, but working full-time, being in graduate school, and trying to fit in an exercise regime really cut into the amount of time I could dedicate to meal prep.

I signed up for HelloFresh which worked for a while, but even though the recipes were marked “quick and easy”, making the time was really difficult. I tried Daily Harvest, but when I discovered that one cup of their smoothies is actually two portions, I stopped.

Then, a good friend told me about Eat Clean Bro and it’s changed my life. Eat Clean Bro is a food delivery service that takes the headache out of meal planning and prepping by cooking, packaging, and delivering healthy, clean, and nutritious meals right to your doorstep.  They have a wide selection of meals (low carb, under 400 calories, vegetarian, etc.), amazing customer support, and different side options (white rice, brown rice, more veggies, etc.) for most of their meals.

The food comes in microwave safe containers, has the expiration date and ingredients printed on top, and tastes AMAZING.  Seriously, do yourself a favor and order the Frankie Edgar.  Here are some of my not-so great Instagram pics:

Also, they give the delivery driver your cell phone number, and the delivery driver actually stays in touch with you throughout the day so you know exactly when your food is arriving. If that’s not great service then I don’t know what is. I’m definitely going to be ordering from them again.

I’ve been working at getting healthy for what seems like forever. But the thing that’s always held me back was my addiction to bad and fast food. It always seemed easier to order Chinese, grab a slice of pizza, or hit the drive-thru than make myself a nutritious meal.  It was pure laziness, and I completely own that.

But today, for the first time in a long time, I ate well from start to finish.  It felt good and made me feel like this might be just what I need to make a serious change.  So do yourself a solid, and give Eat Clean Bro a try!
